Rebecca is an equine massage practitioner based out of Exeter, NH. She grew up riding and later managing barns. Rebecca became licensed as a massage therapist for humans in 2015, and by 2018 her business shifted almost exclusively to horses. She is triple certified in equine massage and continues to pursue continuing education from equine rehab and stretching techniques to modalities such as kinesiology taping. Her background as a human LMT helps her to further understand the role that riders play in biomechanics and the patterns that often show up in our horses. She is passionate about helping horses to operate at their best, whether as comfortable backyard companions or as upper level competition partners. 

CREDENTIALS

  • Previously a licensed Massage Therapist in Maine and New Hampshire

  • Graduate of the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts School of Massage Therapy

  • Certified in Aromatherapy through the Boston School of Herbal Studies Aromatherapy and Advanced Aromatherapy Certification programs

  • Certified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy through Equissage NE-NY

  • Certified Practitioner in the Technical Skills of Wilson Meagher Method of Equine Sportsmassage by Wilson Meagher Sports Therapy/Downeast School of Massage

  • Certified in the AMassage Method of equine massage through Midwest Natural Healing for Animals
